FAQ
Frequently asked questions
The questions we are asked most before a first conversation. What follows is about how we work together.
Where should we start?
We start by measuring. We put the same question to four AIs, look at search and maps alongside it, and turn where you are currently missing into numbers. The results decide what gets fixed.
Which should we tackle first, AEO, SEO or MEO?
That is decided by what we measure, not by us. The order that pays off depends on where your customers are looking. The three are not separate jobs; we run them as one flow.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
Any business with a product or a brand whose search results turn into revenue. Most often they are Korean and other overseas companies moving into Japan, and Japanese companies moving out to the world.
How far do you go? Can you do the implementation too?
From the research through to writing, fixing and getting you placed. Site structure, business profiles, and designing where you appear. We consider the work unfinished until the hands-on part is done.
How does the contract work?
Monthly. The first six months, though, we take on as one stretch.
Why are the first six months needed?
Research, fix, measure again. Until that loop closes, there is no way to tell whether a change came from the work. It takes several turns before the spread of cited sources moves at all. Cut it shorter and it ends before anything can be measured.
What happens after the six months?
It moves to a monthly basis. Whether to carry on is yours to decide each time.
Is there anything we need to prepare to get started?
Nothing at all for a first conversation. Once we are going ahead, we will tell you exactly what is needed, such as access to the site and to the Google Business Profile.
What language do the reports come in?
Whatever language and format you want. We do not hand over Japanese results in Japanese and leave it there. A report that does not reach you in a language you read was not worth writing.
How soon does it show?
It depends what was implemented. Site structure and business profiles are reflected relatively quickly; getting placed on third party outlets takes longer. Because we keep putting the same question at regular intervals, whether anything moved shows up in numbers each time.
What counts as being in the answer?
Whether your name appears in the AI answer, and whether your information is among the sources it cites. For search it is rank; for maps it is which languages you show up in. In every case we judge by the trend across repeated measurements, never a single result.
Can we just talk it through first?
Of course. Talking to us is free. For AI search there is also a free scan that tells you on the spot whether your site can be read.
