Get found on maps.
We get you onto the map, in the words your customers use.
What we do
What we do
Google Maps returns different results depending on the language you ask in. We set up the business profile, the reviews and the posts so you are found in each of those words.
Map search
Same place, same moment. The only difference is the language of the query.
日本語
5ラーメン
Results
People searching in Japanese find you. Because your profile is in Japanese.
English
3ramen
Results
Visitors type "ramen". Same place, same business. Only you disappear.
한국어
2라멘
Results
On the screen of someone searching in Korean, your business is not there either. Even though it is.
A different map for every language.
Someone searching in Japanese, someone in English, someone in Korean. Same place, and yet you disappear depending on the language. First we see which languages you disappear in.
Line the profile up.
We register the Google Business Profile in several languages and sort out categories, attributes, photos and hours. We line it up with the structured data (LocalBusiness) too.
Reply to reviews in their language.
We reply to the reviews you receive in the language they were written in, and build the paths that make reviews easier to receive.
Follow impressions and direction requests.
We run the Google posts and watch how impressions and direction requests change.
Process
How it goes
The order is the same whichever service you take.
Research
We gather the searches and questions that look like yours, and see who is on top and what the AI is citing.
Trace the sources
We map out what gets cited and what gets rated, and identify the outlets lifting your competitors.
Prepare
Working back from the result you want, we decide what to fix and what to write.
Build, then measure
We ask the same question again and watch what moved. We keep going until you are in the answer.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Why does my business not come up when I search Google Maps in another language?
Because the profile does not exist in that language. Google Maps changes its results with the language of the query. Someone searching "ラーメン" in Japanese and someone searching "ramen" in English get different results. We research the queries per language and set up the name, description and categories in those words.
Do we need English or Korean profiles to be found by foreign customers in Japan?
You do. Foreign customers use the map in their own language. If the profile only exists in Japanese, your business does not exist on their map. We start with whichever of English, Korean or Chinese your customers actually use.
How is Google Maps ranking decided?
By the three things Google publishes: relevance, distance and prominence. You cannot move distance, but relevance (how the profile matches the query) and prominence (reviews, mentions, links) can be worked on. We work on those two, language by language.
Should we reply to reviews in English or Korean?
Reply in that language. A reply is read not only by the person who wrote it but by the next person searching in that language. An English review with an English reply tells an English speaker that you are a business that handles their language.
How do you register a Google Business Profile in several languages?
We research the words searched in each language first, then set up the name, description, categories and posts in those words. Not a direct translation, but the words customers in that language type. Photos, hours and attributes are lined up so they read well in any language.
Can our Korean or US head office have the Japanese Google Maps presence set up?
Yes. It is done entirely online. We set up the Japanese profile and reviews from Japan and report progress and changes in Korean or English. We speak to both the Japanese contact and head office, in their own languages.
Does map work have anything to do with AI answers?
It does. When asked "what do you recommend nearby", an AI cites the business profile and the reviews. A profile in order and reviews answered in several languages help in the AI answer, not just the map.
Do you cover the whole country?
Yes. It is done entirely online, so location is not a limit.
How do you handle reviews?
We reply to the reviews you receive and build the paths that make reviews easier to receive, in several languages.
