What we do

What we do

Search has not gone away. Most people still type into the box. And what ranks well in search tends to get cited by AI. SEO is the ground AEO stands on.

Collect the words people type.

We research keywords and questions, in Japanese and in other languages. Not your company name, but the words a customer uses when looking.

The same question, every day. Search rank and AI citations

What ranks at the top of search is what AI cites.

Pages at the top become the sources.

We follow search rank and AI citations daily, on the same question. Rise in search and you become easier to cite in the AI answer.

Make the structure readable.

We sort out site structure, internal links, structured data and hreflang. Easy for people to read, readable for search and AI too.

After the build, follow the rank.

We publish content based on real measurements and fix things while watching Search Console.

Process

How it goes

The order is the same whichever service you take.

Research

We gather the searches and questions that look like yours, and see who is on top and what the AI is citing.

Trace the sources

We map out what gets cited and what gets rated, and identify the outlets lifting your competitors.

Prepare

Working back from the result you want, we decide what to fix and what to write.

Build, then measure

We ask the same question again and watch what moved. We keep going until you are in the answer.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

We show up for our company name but not for our service name. Why?

A company name is a proper noun, and only you have it. A service name is a word you share with competitors, so you are compared with every page ranking for it. We research the words your customers actually type, write the page for those words, and sort out the structure and internal links.

We have Japanese pages, so why do we not rank on Google in Japan?

Search in Japan looks at more than pages written in Japanese: links from Japanese outlets, the behavior of Japanese users, and how the language versions are tied together with hreflang. A single translated page often does not match the Japanese query at all. We redesign starting from the words people search in Japanese.

Is translating our Korean or US head office site enough for SEO in Japan?

It is not. Translation changes the words but not the queries. What a Japanese customer types is not a direct translation of head office language. We design from Japanese queries, tie the language versions together with hreflang, and build a state where Japanese outlets link to you.

How should hreflang be set up across Japanese, English and Korean sites?

Each language version should point at the others so they are tied into one entity. If it is one directional or has gaps, search engines treat them as separate sites. We tie three languages together with the same design on miruai.jp, and we build it that way.

With AI search growing, should we keep working on Google search?

Keep going. Search has not gone away, and most people still type into the box. Pages that rank well are also the ones AI tends to cite. Search work is the ground for appearing in AI answers as well.

We heard Next.js and React sites are hard for search and AI to read.

They are hard to read if you render only in the browser. Render the body on the server and both search engines and AI crawlers can read it in the first response. This site itself is built that way, with server side rendering in Next.js.

We blog every day and get no traffic. Why?

It is decided by whether you answer the questions people search, not by how much you write. We gather the questions customers type, write in a form that answers them, and use structured data to carry the meaning of the article to machines as well. Our own blog publishes what we measured ourselves, in exactly that way.

Is translating enough for multiple languages?

It is not. Search engines see things differently by language, and the outlets cited differ too. We tie the language versions correctly with hreflang and design for the queries and outlets of each language.

How long does it take?

It depends on where you are now. After the research we give you the scope and the plan together, in writing.
